With your help and input, we have started this exciting journey of updating our Municipal brand in August of 2023 and we are nearing completion! We continue to need your input on helping us choose which logo best represents the Municipality and each of the 3 communities within as well as catchy tag lines!

Creating a new municipal logo incorporating aspects of the 3 communities
Create a new municipal tagline
Create new logos and taglines for Mildmay, Teeswater & Formosa
Review existing branding and façade guidelines for Mildmay and Teeswater and potentially revise based on community input
Create branding and façade guidelines for Formosa so they are eligible for grants
The goal is to give us a fresh new look and to make our community feel more united and cohesive, to foster economic growth of new businesses and residents, and to boost our South Bruce community pride.
Next steps, we will also be creating façade guidelines for more granting opportunities for our South Bruce businesses as branding and façade guidelines are a requirement to be eligible for granting opportunities both through Bruce County and municipal funding programs. Therefore, the branding process is necessary so that all businesses within our municipality have equal opportunity for grants and resources.
The cost for this project is being paid for through the 2023 Multi-Year Funding Budget for Planning and Capacity building..

Phase 1A: Research and Discovery - Completed in August 2023
Phase 1B: Stakeholder Engagement and 3 Community Branding Open Houses - Completed September 2023
Phase 2: Branding Frameworks and Branding Developments - Completed in October 2023
Phase 3: Public Vote on logos and taglines - Current stage (January 24 - February 29, 2024)
Phase 4: Final Report, Façade Guidelines and Branding Selection - Upcoming - Month of March 2024
